Positive: What can I say? Where to begin, our stay at Alon Guest Hotel was so pleasant 😱😍 The owner gave us a superb welcome (he was incredibly kind), offering us a brand new room! No one had stayed there before us 😂😉 The hotel has been extended, and the renovations were done by this gentleman and his wife! Wow. The location is just ideal, with a sunset view and barely a minute's walk from Abu Simbel 👌🏻 Then we ended our day perfectly by playing a quiet game on the terrace with the owners' son, who is absolutely adorable!! Excellent breakfast 👌🏻 Everything was perfect 😍

Positive: The hospitality of the owner, and the location, we walked to and from Abu Simbel quite easily and safely. Good breakfast. Owner assisted us to get tickets for Sound & Light and gave us a ride. Also he provided us with a boat outing early in the morning on Lake Nasser to view the temples from the water.

Negative: Room felt cramped and dark, no windows. Bathroom basic, no dry area, we decided to skip our nightly shower.

Positive: Everything was great with our stay. Adel is very kind and offered to drive us around when needed. He took us to the light show and recommended a great restaurant to eat at night, called New Abu Simbel. The room was bigger than in the photos and even the beds are big. We are very happy! The sunset was amazing from there and the breakfast too!
