This is an irresistible and fun beachfront home. It is freshly updated and beautifully decorated. With 3 bedrooms plus a living room and a game room, this property can comfortably sleep most beach-loving families. You are welcome to bring an air mattress or cots for extra sleeping. During the day, you will be building sandcastles and relaxing on your big, wide, private sandy beach backyard.
This is an irresistible and fun beachfront home. It is freshly updated and professionally decorated. With 3 bedrooms plus a living room and a game room, this property can comfortably sleep most beach-loving families. You are welcome to bring an air mattress or cots for extra sleeping. During the day, you will be building sandcastles and relaxing on your big, wide, private sandy beach backyard. At sunset, you will sit next to the beach bonfire while enjoying your views. Often the waves splash right up to or into your backyard! This is probably the largest oceanfront yard in the city with its lush green lawn and its private sandy backyard. You will love using the BBQ, cooking hotdogs and hamburgers as you watch the dolphins jump and play right in front of the cottage. Your stay will be the serene and relaxing beach vacation you are looking for!
The beach house is fresh and bright with all new coastal decor. The ocean view kitchen has all new and modern appliances, equipment, and gadgets you need for spectacular beachfront dining, including a K cup coffee maker. The bedrooms are fully appointed with fresh duvets and towels, including fluffy beach towels. The home has everything you need for your stay at the beach, all you have to bring are your clothes and food! Of course, we have smart TV`s, a ceiling mounted living room tv, cell phone charging stations, and free high-speed WIFI.
The location of the home also makes it a spectacular choice. It is an easy walk to the wide sandy beach of the pier area, the many fun restaurants, gastro pubs, coffee shops, ice cream shops, and even the movies are an easy walk. Bring your beach cruisers because we have miles of coastal trails and it`s always fun to ride to the shops and restaurants at nearby Oceanside Harbor. Boats and kayaks can be rented at the harbor. We are only 15 minutes from Legoland and an easy drive to Seaworld and San Diego Zoo.
Intimate beach Weddings
The perfect setting for an intimate beach wedding or elopement up to 18 people. We have the wedding chairs and tables. All you need is the bride and groom. Our onsite staff will assure you have a special place to recite your vows or become engaged. All ceremonies are daytime 1-5 pm , (so you can see the ocean in your photos) and conclude by 5 pm. Summary: I couldn't be more pleased with this beach cottage! It was much larger than I had anticipated! One week was not long enough; we all wanted to stay another week! Easy access to the beach. A green lawn for my grandchildren to play. Washer and dryer, oven, microwave, coffee maker all included. The bedding was so clean and smelled awesome! We drank coffee by the ocean every morning and sat there again in the evening as we watched the sunset. The only downfall was that we did not meet the owners of the property; I was waiting for our cookies that everyone else bragged about ha ha!

Summary: Our stay in Oceanside was perfect, I have been a lot of places Aruba, St Maarten, Cancun ect.. and this was one of the most beautiful views I have seen. Almost every day we saw Dolphins. The location was perfect we couldn't have asked for a more beautiful view from the beach house and the yard... It was awesome!! it was so beautiful we didn't go out much we didn't want to miss out on seeing the sunset :). The beach house was very comfortable it had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here.. The owner was always helpful and always got right back to us if we had any questions....The last day my son in law got stung by a stingray which I understand is very rare....

Summary: Our stay at this property was very disappointing. After spending quite a bit of money to rent this place for week, we opened the door to a house that was in need of some cleaning to say the least. Upon entering, you could see that the furniture was dirty and stained to the point that we covered them with towels before sitting on them. While emptying the ice chest, water spilled onto the floor and when it was wiped up the towel was black. The house had not been cleaned properly and since each guest pays a cleaning fee there is no excuse for a dirty house. There was mold on the shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom. The kitchen utensils were rusted and luckily we brought a can opener with us because the one there wouldn't work. If you are going to rent a house for thousands of dollars a week, I think you could spend a hundred dollars and buy new kitchen items when they rust over. We understand that this house is at the beach and things rust, but that is no excuse for not spending the time to keep up your property with a little care. The locks on the doors didn't work so there were baskets filled with rocks which doesn't actually keep the doors shut. It would be nice to have privacy when in the bathroom. Also, the upstairs toilet area is next to the front window which only had a thin curtain on it. At night, I would have to use the restroom in the dark so that people couldn't see in. A shade would be nice! You couldn't broil with the oven. There were not enough bath towels. When you allow that many guests you should provide the appropriate number of towels. The trash cans were half full when we arrived. By the fourth day, we ran out of room and my husband carried trash bags home with him to throw away. Also, the dryer vents into the house so it blows dust back into the room which caused one guest to have severe allergies. We stayed there with young kids and were disappointed to see that at the end of the property you have to climb down rocks to reach the beach. This was not conducive to young kids who wanted to play in the water and stood at the edge of a drop off. Also some of the chairs were broken and where was the red umbrella that it shows in the picture? I think the worst part was the neighbors Great Danes, yes that is plural. Every time you stepped outside you could smell the pungent odor of dog urine and feces. Needless to say it made enjoying the ocean unbearable. This was certainly not the vacation that we had planned on having.

Summary: My sisters , mom and cousin met in San Diego to celebrate our mom's 90th birthday. The house was perfect and the location was great. We went to the local farmers market on Thursday, took a stroll down the pier to a wonderful ice cream parlor, and enjoyed margaritas on the deck. The owner, Kim, is great. All communication prior to arriving and during our visit was courteous and prompt. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Summary: A perfect rental for a large family to vacation together without sharing any common areas with other renters. A private house right on the beach! Direct access to the water from your back door! Private fire pit was great to have for a large group wanting to be together and talk by the ocean at night. Kim was great to work with via email and on site. She dropped off our keys as soon as we pulled up to the house! She's only a few doors down if you need anything but we were fine and didn't really need anything after check-in. The only issue we had was stair climbing for those of us over 75. We had 3 elders including myself and since the only kitchen is upstairs we had to climb stairs more than we cared to. Eating outside a few nights helped. We'd still consider coming back again with kids and grandkids. They loved this unique private spot on the beach where the house is not shared with anyone but one family.

Summary: We had an amazing time! The house was in perfect walking distance from several activities and the kids each had their own room. They would say it is good to be home when we would get back ( I think having the beach right in the backyard helped). The beds were very comfortable and having the window open listening to the waves every night was a little piece of heaven. We will definitely be returning.

Summary: My family has had the privilege of renting from Kim 4 times now! She is so wonderful to work with and her beach homes are beautiful! We have stayed in the red door house twice and her other home twice. The private beach and yard make you feel like you have your own personal oasis! We have built so many wonderful memories with our family and plan on coming back again! The houses are always clean and have beautiful decor.
