Positive: Brinks View Cottage is outstanding in every way. A real home from home, very well equipped, spacious yet cozy. The extras, including a bottle of wine and local cakes, were a lovely touch. All three of us loved our experience staying here and plan to be back. Also, the beautifully maintained garden has a stunning view over the fields behind the cottage and is very quiet. Andrew and Sarah are super hosts and made us, including Theo, our dog, feel very welcome. Lottie, their dog, was great fun and a great playmate for Theo

Positive: We all had an amazing stay at Brinks view. The hosts we're very friendly and welcoming. The house had everything we could have needed for our weekend away. The little touches from the hosts, such as fresh bread and cakes were so lovely. We honestly couldn't have asked for more. Our weekend was spent hiking and scrambling. We visited three different peaks over the three days. The house was in a perfect location for access. Thanks guys, we'll definitely be back x

Positive: I can only say that I loved staying here. Sarah and Andy are very kind hosts and when I told them I would be arriving by train they offered to give me a ride from the station to the cottage and vice versa on the day of departure. Upon arrival I found a basket with local products in the kitchen which was a lovely surprise. The cottage itself is beautiful and has almost everything you need (the only thing missing being a hairdryer but this is also not listed in the facilities so I brought my own from home). It's very cosy and well-decorated making it a welcoming place to spend time on rainy days and in the evenings. It was also exceptionally clean and the bed was comfortable. I loved the view from the bedroom over the fields behind the house. The cottage is located in the heart of the Peak District so it is ideal for an active holiday. A small grocery store and some stores selling local products are within walking distance as well as a few pubs and cafes. If and when I visit the Peak District again I would absolutely revisit this accommodation.
