Summary: Lovely property with plenty of parking. Kitchen very well equipped. Everything within walking distance, pubs, shops and cafes etc. Welcome pack on arrival was a nice touch too

Summary: We had a very enjoyable stay. The house is well equipped and cosy. The beds are comfortable, dressed with white cotton bed linen, which felt luxurious. We appreciated a pint of milk in the fridge to make drinks on arrival. There was plenty to do in Hathersage and some beautiful walks, especially to Stanage Edge.

Summary: The host is great and left some really thoughtful refreshments and basics. Lovely cottage with a cosy sitting room and real fire and comfortable beds. Definitely plan to stay here again.

Summary: This property had everything we needed for a weekend in the Peak District. Great location just a few minutes walk from the pubs, shops, cafes of Hathersage - but a peaceful location once at the property. The house had everything needed - kitchen well equipped if you want to cook yourselves and plenty of space for eating / relaxing. Our daughter loved having the attic bedroom to herself and all three bedrooms had generous space. The stairs from ground to first floor are steep, but had a good handrail. We didn’t get to enjoy the gardens much (too cold!) but the property has good outdoor spaces if you’re there in warmer times. Host contact was good - clear instructions received well in advance. Overall, a lovely and accurately described property. Would definitely stay again if we’re back in the area.

Summary: The property was smaller than we expected and we also did not expect the gardens to be separated from the house one by a public footpath and the other by an access road to other properties. A helpful neighbour identified the correct property for us when we were looking for access to the wrong property at the end of the front garden. It would be helpful for the website to confirm it is an end of terrace, with a picture, and that the pictures of the other property behind the front garden, of which there are many, is not the property in which you are staying. We did however really enjoy our stay. The property is very comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. The location is great with many local facilities within a very short walk and right on the door step of fabulous walks and views.
