Positive: We had a meal in the restaurant in the evening which was excellent as was the atmosphere and likewise the breakfast. The decor throughout is lovely, modern and cosy. Staff were fabulous.

Summary: Wonderful overnight stay, exceeded expectations, very good food, drink, service. Will return.

Positive: Very smart property, lovely room tastefully furnished. Huge bed and lots of space in room. Smart, presentable restaurant/breakfast area. The breakfast was generous and very tasty. Easy parking at rear of property.

Negative: The room was situated facing the main road outside, which had traffic driving past at all hours (many very quickly and noisily) so I didn’t sleep at all. Windows need to be properly sound proofed. The bed, whilst very big, was extremely hard. The shower/bath attachments were complicated and the power of taps and shower heads was too powerful. Needs to be made simpler! I asked for a latte with my breakfast and was told ‘you can only have tea or a filter coffee, you have to pay for anything else.’ Never had this at any other hotel.
