Summary: Overall, I enjoyed our stay at this spot. The location can’t be beat. It’s right by Boston Common (for parking) and nestled on Charles Street, close to attractions but far enough away that you can escape the hustle and bustle at night. The staff were friendlyish but often unavailable (another guest said her power went out and no one was around to help). Room could have been cleaner. There were stains on the sheet and areas in the room that looked like they hadn’t been touched in awhile. The elevator broke down while we were there, which wasn’t the end of the world, but wouldn’t have been pleasant if we had to schlep all our luggage up the stairs. We were near the upstairs terrace and it got really noisy at night. We ended up using a sound machine to drown out the noise. It’d be nice to offer small amenities, as well - my friend forgot a toothbrush and they didn’t have any on hand. It’s a cute space but shows wear - hoping they keep up maintenance bc it has the potential to be great.

Summary: As other reviewers have stated the staff is excellent at this charming boutique hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. They are European style so not huge - which we knew. Our room had space for a desk with a chair and a small bench at the foot of the bed as well as a closet complete with 2 courtesy umbrellas during our stay. The bathroom and shower were marble and squeaky clean. 2 eco friendly glass bottles of water provided along with glass glasses.there is a little rooftop seating area as well that looks out over Charles Street which was fun and relaxing.
