Positive: Great location and awesome staff that were super friendly!

Negative: The heater in the room only stays on for 3 hours before you need to reset it and it gets very cold when it goes off in the middle of the night.

Positive: We stayed in traditional japanese style room with tatami mats on the floor. The room was very spacious, had closet for futons, but we used it also as closet to store our things. In the room we had small table with pillows, so it was also convenient to eat there. It's very close by Yamanouchi train station and few restaurants are also around. If you're around, dont forget to visit onsen (also allowed with small tatooes) which is attached to the train station.

Negative: Bathroom could be a little bit more clean and also the main hall could use some renovation. But it's and old building so it has its magic ;-)

Negative: Hard to find restaurants Or breakfast option. There is an awful small space with a microwave . No kitchen facilities. I know the description doesn’t say kitchen …..but hard to get food .

Positive: Close to train stop there are a lot of nice places to sit around , a tatami room to eat in with the basic facilities to make food and a nice view to a little pond

Negative: A bit far away from the center of town, there wasn’t a view from the window
