Enjoy a private upstairs studio apartment over a house in a quiet sub-division. The owner lives in the main house downstairs. You have a separate entrance in the back of the house -- up the outdoor stairs to a large deck. French doors enter into the living room area. There is a large bedroom with a walk-in closet and a queen bed. The full bath with a shower is accessible from the bedroom and the living room. The living room has a kitchen area with a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven and coffee pot. No stove - but two blocks from restaurant-dense Dewey Beach.
There is a large driveway where you can park your car without needing any special permits.
It is a 3-block walk to the beach and a 1-block walk to Rehoboth Bay.
There is high speed internet and TV.
Note: Owner has a dog and cats downstairs in case allergies are an issue for you.

Summary: This was a perfect property just off Route 1 with easy walking access to the beach and downtown Dewey Beach. It was a quick ride to Rehoboth as well. Very easy for a single traveller with all that I could ask for. The hosts were very available although there were no issues. Definitely will keep in mind for future visits!

Summary: Liz is a lovely host, and the upstairs apartment is larger than we expected. As others have noted doing the dishes in the bathroom sink is a bit tricky, but we managed. We would definitely go back again!
