Negative: The air conditioning was very noisy and not very effective. There were no plugs in any of the sinks or basins, so washing dishes wasn’t easy without wasting water—especially since there was no running hot water and we had to boil a kettle. The paving outside doesn’t appear to be cleaned regularly, as there were bird droppings, dust, and spider webs everywhere. The gardens also need some TLC. However, we did have a lovely, quiet night self-catering; it just feels like a little more attention to detail would make a huge difference.

Summary: We had what we needed. A quiet peaceful comfortable night.

Positive: The suite we stayed in was beautiful, and you can see a lot of thought and intention went into the design and organisation of it. The kitchenette was very well equipped, the fire place is cosy, and it is just so beautiful and peaceful there. I was also impressed with the book selection; you can see it wasn't just randomly selected books, and thought went into it. The breakfast basket was amazing as well. My husband got a big thrill out of feeding the pigs with the pig feed packet. It exceeded our expectations, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a more remote stay to decompress.

Positive: Gorgeous farm setting, peaceful and wholesome. Cute to feed the animals with the kids. The suite was comfortable, perfect size, comfy furnishings. The kitchen had everything you need. The breakfast baskets were an extra treat in the morning and very generous. You can also order meals for dinner and lunch which is super convenient.

Negative: The only thing was the indoor fireplace smoked quite a lot, but apparently can be avoided by lighting a smaller fire.

Positive: Highly recommend White Water Farm to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, especially families or couples who love nature, animals, and authentic farm life. One of the highlights was the fresh, homemade breakfast basket.. Everything was delicious and locally sourced—fresh eggs, homemade bread, seasonal fruit, juice, ham and cheese.. Friendly welcome, beautiful apartment, fireplace inside, stocked barfridge and fantstic menu to choose from. Wish we stayed longer.
