Positive: It was so quiet and well kept. It felt like we were on a retreat. We loved the access to roam about the property and explore the little corners of the farm. Our cottage was perfectly sized for our needs and we really enjoyed the little personal touch of a basket of fresh garden produce in our kitchen.

Positive: The Vineyard Cottage was incredible, we loved the look and design of the unit perched above the farm and vineyard. The hot tub was amazing after the day and add to the relaxing atmosphere of the place, with the mountains in the background. Ronnie, one of the farm dogs also came to say hi which was the best! Standford town is a short drive [20min] where we had our meals and got food supplies. We also went over to Panthera, a big cat sanctuary which is 1km away which was a great addition to our trip. Tabby also gifted us some fresh farm produce which was really appreciated!

Negative: There is nothing to not like!

Positive: Tabby and Alex were so welcoming and friendly. We loved the garden cottage, which is beautifully decorated and so comfortable and clean. The view is so relaxing. I loved the shower and even tried the outdoor one, which was lovely even in winter. We enjoyed the animals, especially the baby goats. Loved the boats and dam. I will definitely be booking to stay here again.

Negative: Didn't like the pillow, but that is just a personal preference. I would like to make a few small suggestions, but in no way did these detract from our wonderful weekend. 1)Wooden spoons for cooking would be nice, as we didn't like using plastic and metal gets very hot with gas. 2) Would have appreciated wine glasses.

Positive: This place is special, beautiful and beyond words to describe!!!! It is one of the most beautifully and well equipped cottages I have ever stayed in!!!! On arrival we even found some real home-made muesli, fresh vegetables from the garden, fresh coffee beans and fresh milk in our cottage as a welcome "gift". There was EVERYTHING you can think of in the cottage, the fireplace makes it so nice and warm, the braai is outside but under roof, so can be used even if it rains. And in summer if you open all the doors its like one huge living space with the braai as part of the cottage. We have allready made another booking enquiry and told all our family. Thanks so much Tabby for being the most amazing host also!!!! All information was received well in advance and communication and check-in and everything was just so pleasurable!!!

Summary: Definetly our nr 1 stay in the western cape EVER with so much to do all around!!!!

Positive: On arrival we found a welcome basket with fresh veggies and honey from the farm which was highly appreciated. A short walk to the vegetable garden where you can pick what you need. Spacious farmhouse, cooking was fun in a huge kitchen which is very well equipped. Lots of different seating options outside. Owner Tammy was very kind and reactive when needed. Lots of farm animals to see and a great dam to swim. We truly loved our stay at this beautiful and tranquil farm and have already booked our next stay.

Negative: King size beds would have been a bonus but all beds were comfortable
