Summary: The hotel is in a quiet area close to the ruins. There are beautiful gardens around the hotel and surrounding the pool. It is nice for the kids as there is a pool, a movie watching room with a pool table and foosball. Also the area around the hotel is nice for walking and exploring. The hotel itself is designed nicely and the whole place really has a lot of character. The only downfall really is that there is nothing else around as far as stores or restaurants, so you have to eat at the hotel restaurant and it does have limited hours.

Summary: We only spent one night as a stopover from Cancun to Merida so we could visit Chichen Itza and Cenote Ik Kil first thing for which it was very conveniently placed. Quite dated property but spotless and quiet in the evening and with nice restaurant surrounding a pool which sadly we didn't have time to use.
