Positive: The property is beautiful and the staff are wonderful. It is so close to Chichén Itzá and the Cenotes. It made the whole day so easy and enjoyable. The food is excellent, some of the best food we had. Do the birdwatching tour on the grounds! We saw toucans, parrots, falcons, hummingbirds and the guide is so lovely.

Negative: Very small point re: thought it was overkill to need to ask and sign deposit for very basic beach towels which wasn’t in keeping with the classy upmarket vibe of the rest of the hotel or hotels of its kind.

Summary: Gorgeous hacienda, brilliant food and service! Stay here!

Positive: The location and setting of this property were fantastic. The grounds are wonderfully looked after and the staff are fabulous. Definitely recommended if you are visiting the area and want to be able to get to Chichen Itza before the crowds arrive.

Positive: Amazing location. Rooms are immersed in the jungle and it is 10 minutes away from the Chichen Itzá site. A really good place to relax after visiting the site

Negative: The patio is really nice but not easy to use because it is shared with other rooms
