Villa Cara is a great secure base for a holiday in Lanzarote whether you are a couple or a family seeking a perfectly sized villa. It is a semi-detached luxury villa that has a private terrace and pool area that receives all day sunshine. There is off road parking on the gated drive.The terrace/pool area is secured with a locked pool gate for child safety. The heated swimming pool (approx 9 ft by 18 ft) is located in the back garden. Sunloungers and pool towels are provided. There is also a shaded corner with a comfortable sofa to relax on away from the hot midday sun. This villa has a sunny south facing aspect.
The interior is decorated to a very high standard with quality fittings throughout. The kitchen boasts granite worktops, oven, hob, washing machine, iron/ironing board, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, & coffee machine. The dining room has seating for 5 guests. If you want to dine Al fresco there is a second dining table under the covered pergola on the patio, next to the brick built BBQ.
There are two newly refurbished bedrooms in Villa Cara. The twin room located next to the main bathroom consists of two single beds, locker, wardrobe, dresser and mirror. The double room has a newly built ensuite with hairdryer, built in wardrobes (security safe provided), lockers, dresser, mirror. There is air conditioning in both bedrooms.
The family bathroom has a bath, shower over the bath, bidet, toilet and sink unit. There is a hairdryer & hair straightener in this bathroom.
The cool lounge with corner sofa, TV with Sky Channels/ DVD player/ free decent WiFi & it overlooks the patio & swimming pool area.
Villa Cara is a very child friendly villa as it provides a secured pool gate so you have maximum peace of mind.
Also provided free of charge is a travel cot, high chair & potty. Welcome pack also included.
The Management Team for this villa live close by and are always at hand should you need anything throughout your stay. If you are staying for ten to fourteen days the villa will be cleaned mid stay and you will receive clean towels and linen. For longer stays the villa will be cleaned once a week with towels and linen changed weekly.
Car not essential - bus service 200mtrs away, Shop 10-15 min walk, beaches are only a 3 minute drive and a 20 minute walk will take you into the beautiful village of Playa Blanca. Catch a taxi to the superb Marina Rubicon, with a range of bars, restaurants and shops.
There is a small supermarket a 10-15 minute walk away. Taxi's are very reasonable, a couple of euro will take you to the the town centre. There are excellent supermarkets in the village selling fresh fish, meat, fruit and the usual array of products.

Summary: Lovely property. Very homely with lots of little extras included to make the trip easier. Pool was a highlight, warm and larger than we thought. Outside space was great. Owner was quick to respond and helpful. Very quiet location but within few minutes drive of resort centre and beaches. Would definitely recommend to friends. Nice hot shower and comfy beds. Well equipped kitchen. Thank you for sharing your holiday home with us

Summary: Everything about Villa Cara was excellent. From the great communication with Jennifer & Mark to the villa itself. We arrived early & were able to leave bags while explored. Villa in great location about 20 minute walk from front. Came back to a lovely surprise of a welcome pack with everything in to get started. A really nice touch. Had everything in villa could ever need they thought of everything from every kitchen utensil to gadget. Hair dryer and straighteners. Lovely size & immaculate. Outdoor space great with plenty of room & of course the heated pool was great. Would definitely recommend a stay.

Summary: We have really enjoyed staying at Villa Cara. The villa is perfect for a family of four. Very clean and well kitted out. Our children loved playing in the heated pool, which was a lovely temperature for December. We also cooked some tasty meat and squid on the BBQ, bought from the Lidl a short drive away.The welcome food and drinks was also very much appreciated, as was the late check out to accommodate our evening flight.We hired a car and made the most of exploring the island. Highlights were the cave at Cueva de los Verdes, and a walk to the volcanic crater at Cuervo Volcano, and fab paella at Taberna del Puerto in Puerto Calero. The Sunday market at Teguise was great for a nosy around and locally made jewelry.We enjoyed meals out at the marina, which we walked to, at Jungle Vibes, Trattoria il Commendatore, and Lani’s grill.We would love to return.

Summary: We stayed at Mark & Jennifer’s villa for a week, the first week of December. It’s the first time we have been to Lanzarote and we will certainly be going back. The villa had everything we needed for our stay. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and had the essentials that we needed to save us going straight to the supermarket. The outside space was great for soaking up the sun and we welcomed the heated pool for a quick dip. The villa is in walking distance to the town centre and although we hired a car we could have managed without it as there are regular buses if you wanted to go a bit further. Our holiday was just to relax and get away from the business of life and we managed that in this lovely place. Thank you for making the process easy from booking to departure. We would love to come back again

Summary: My wife and I had a super relaxing time during our stay at Villa Cara, owners Jennifer and Mark were very friendly and put together a great welcome pack for our arrival. The Villa was just perfect for location with town 15-20 min walk to restaurants and bars, beaches and coast. Hope to be back next year.

Summary: Loved this place, very quiet part of Playa Blanca, perfect for a damily holiday, 20 minute walk to the beach and nice restaurants along the seafront, having the heated pool was great with our one year old.
