Positive: Absolutely prime location, right at the bottom of Steep Hill. Lovely little basket of goodies on arrival, and the place was spacious and comfortable for the two of us. The garden was also spectacular to enjoy in the sunshine. Couldn't recommend it more. Unless it's on a week we want to book it again.

Positive: The property is located just below the cathedral and castle. With restaurants just outside the front door. The parking is in quiet area to rear. We paid £6 for a taxi rather than climb the steep st or drive and pay for parking. Inside is very modern with all amenities including tv in every room. The tv has more programs than the normal rental property. The kitchen was fully equipped with brand new appliances. The biggest bonus was the welcome pack. We have traveled for 60 years and have never had a welcome pack so generous. Outside has two seating areas which catch the sun.

Negative: Nothing

Summary: We had an excellent stay in an excellent home in a beautiful city.

Positive: Location was excellent for town centre and historic Lincoln. House is comfy and cosy. Shower is lovely. Kitchen is neat and user friendly.

Positive: Great location near the Cathedral with convenient parking. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. The owner was very helpful and responded quickly to emails. I would happily stay at this property again.

Negative: Friday and Saturday nights were a little noisy with people leaving the pubs nearby.

Positive: My wife and her friend stayed at this accommodation and this is her write up. The whole experience was amazing. I was asked to contact the host a few days before to confirm our arrival time. Jill was friendly and very talkative, offering advice and explained what to expect. This was a nice start, talking to the owner who came across as more of a friend rather than a seller. I arrived at 1500 which would give me enough time to unpack before collecting my friend from the station, but what I didn’t realise was an email sent to me with the entry details did not arrive. I called Jill (owner), all resolved and I soon gained entry. It’s a lovely place and a wonderful location (if you like hills). I drove to the station to collect my friend rather than walk which is doable since the property is before Steep Hil. Since my friend and I don’t meet often we loved the facilities to just catch up and chat. It was so easy just to stay and chill but we did venture out and it’s so close to bars and restaurants. We did force ourselves to go further. Lawsons across the road was really nice. The front bedroom does suffer from some noise but that’s to be expected considering the location. Bev didn’t hear anything in the back bedroom. The welcome pack was appreciated.

Negative: There was no dressing table to sit and dry hair and make up but the lighting was excellent

Positive: The location plus the property itself which has recently been renovated to the highest standard including the garden. The goodies left for us including a bottle of Prosecco were a very welcoming gesture.

Negative: The noise from outside in the front bedroom in the early hours. This would however not stop me from staying again.
