Positive: The location and the cottage were amazing. It was clean, tidy and comfortable

Negative: The other cottages had chairs and tables outside, however there were none for the cottage we stayed in. Also no WiFi and very limited phone coverage so it made communication a bit awkward at times, however these were only used on a couple of occasions so didnt present too much of an issue

Summary: Great cottage and I'd happily stay there again

Positive: Well located for Bakewell, where we were taking part in a hiking event

Negative: The cottage is a little compact for 4 adults and would better suit two people. Unfortunately the hot water didn't reheat on the automatic program and we were unable to get any hot water on the 2nd evening or the following morning. We had to resort to showering in cold water.the morning of our departure.

Positive: Location good- we have visited Bakewell on several occasions. Property spotless, bed comfortable Kitchen well supplied Good shower

Negative: The beds and space on the mezzanine floor need addressing. One bed under a main beam, which you have to slide under to get in. Again, you have to navigate your way out, an accident waiting to happen. Not a functional space, cramped.

Summary: Suitable for a couple using ground floor only.

Negative: Nosy neighbour opposite who left a pre printed card on my car advising me not to kerb park in the street where I had parked, she also reminded me that I could not under any circumstances park in the courtyard, which I knew about. Not a very warm welcome to the area. I had the temerity to be a visitor I suppose.
