Summary: Lovely small hotel in a quiet little village with amazing views. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It is a perfect place to enjoy walking or just visiting the lovely houses nearby. Breakfast was freshly cooked and plentiful, and the bar was well stocked with a good choice of beers, offering a range of classic pub fayre. The rooms and bathroom were spotless. Would fully recommend.

Summary: Lovely, lovely, little Lathkil. At first, we feared Google was taking us into the wilds of Derbyshire never to be seen again. How wrong we were; Lathkil, originally The Miner's Arms (1828), is a delightful, cosy, and beautifully done up gem. Views of the dales, and of grazing sheep. Easy access to walking trails. Good food. Friendly hosts. Beware: steep steps to the guest rooms. Would definitely revisit. walking paths, and the hospitality.

Summary: We booked a room with a view which was lovely to wake up to. The room was small but clean and had plenty of tea/coffee and milk for our stay. We stayed on a Monday night when the bar and restaurant were closed but this meant we had a very quiet night and a good nights sleep on a very comfortable bed. The breakfast choice and service was fantastic and set us up for the day.
