Positive: The best hotel in Gambia, enjoyed every minute of my time there. Going to book again. Highly recommented to everyone. Rooms are very clean, big and the view was awesome. The stuff is very friendly and ready to extra mile just to make guests smile. I am very happy about my stay in this hotel.

Positive: About 7 of us from the same family stayed at the hotel. We all had a wonderful stay there. All the staff were friendly and pleasant. The food was absolutely brilliant and plentiful . The rooms were very spacious and well provided with facilities. The general ambience of the hotel, which is well located was brilliant. I would like to give particular mention to the following members of the Reception Team - Aminata, Binta, Aisha, Sambou, and Baboicarr. Also members of the Cleaning Team, in particular Isatou Dumbuya and Saiko Sanneh. And everyone in the Catering Team. They all made our stay pleasant and enjoyable. My daughter and niece enjoyed using the brilliant gym facilities. The live music presented was absolutely brilliant. I was impressed with a band from Sierra Leone who performed there one evening. I will most definitely recommend the hotel to family and friends visiting the Gambia.

Positive: Great location. Very friendly staff.

Negative: Very tired resort. Needs lots of money spending on it. Dirty, Floors in the rooms need better mopping. Dodgy locks. Not worth the money we payed. All-inclusive not much of a choice and very overpriced

Positive: Tamala Beach Resort is a beautiful and relaxing hotel by the ocean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast is truly excellent with a wide variety of choices. The pool bar and restaurant serve top-quality food and drinks — definitely among the best you can find in Gambia. The staff are very friendly and polite, always greeting guests with a smile. Overall, it’s a great place to unwind and enjoy the Gambian sun in a peaceful setting.

Negative: I wanted to share some constructive feedback. The hotel was nearly empty during my stay, yet I was still asked to pay extra for an early check-in, and a late check-out was also refused. Given the circumstances, a bit more flexibility would have been appreciated. In addition, the lady at reception, Aisayto, was not particularly customer-oriented — a more welcoming and flexible approach would really improve the guest experience.
