Positive: Everything was lovely in the property. Nice, big and clean house. Beautiful views. My daughters lived the Chickens

Negative: Bedroom was massive with double bed which was small for 2 adults. Duvet covers in all the rooms were dated.

Positive: The Stables is well located in a beautiful part of the Peak district. We spent two days walking and didn’t need to use the car. The property is big and spacious and easily accommodated four adults. It was clean - I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere so spotless! We would definitely use it again.

Positive: It was all lovely. The area is amazing with lots of areas to walk and visit. The cottage is large and has everything needed for any stay. The utility room was useful for drying our wet coats. We didn't need to use the washing machine or dishwasher so can't comment on those. The kitchen is very well equipped. There are plenty of maps and information about the local areas of interest, and also books and board games available to use.

Negative: Some areas upstairs has very squeaky floors, the TV is a little small, and a couple of hooks in the bathroom would be very useful. Maybe a TV in the bedroom would be an added luxury for some. But overall nothing to complain about 🙂.

Summary: We'd definitely stay here again.

Positive: Mr & Mrs Elliot host is very kind, cottage is very clean, well prepared to receive guests, sufficient stuffing, like milk, lemon cake and even oil we asked for were very responsive and making warm for our stay. very consideration for covid measurement, sanitisation works being in place that was impressive. Hosts also introduced few great trails for our hikes just surroundings.

Negative: not really dislike, but the sign to the cottage could be considered in both sides that could make the private way easier to approach.

Summary: overall a very good stay, we had mind free & peaceful stay.
