Positive: Wonderful hosts, nothing too much trouble. Lovely welcome hamper and extras provided. The home was extremely comfortable and cosy with furnishings and finishes to an extremely high standard. Super comfy beds and luxurious laundry and bedding. We simply couldn't have asked for more and have recommended to family and friends when looking to visit the fantastic area of Lincoln. The local area of Metheringham is a fantastic base with an abundance of shops, eateries and local amenities.

Positive: What a wonderful cottage in a bustling little village! Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and practical layout. It had everything you could want. Bed and pillows were super comfy and the location was quiet. Spacious, well thought out kitchen. Bathroom was good size and had large walk in shower. Good communication, info and welcome hamper provided by the hosts. The parking is not really useable at the actual site unless you have a very small car BUT there are no issues with parking at the next door pub, provided you let landlord know and have a drink, which, to be fair, was as close as parking at the house! Don't be put off by the fact there is a pub next door. Despite being popular, noise was minimal, and could not hear anything at all after 7pm. Even enjoyed a game of pool with a local in the pub! Pub and village folk friendly. We will definitely be returning here if in the area again!

Positive: details of how to access keys clearly conveyed from hosts and informative texts regarding check in time earlier than anticipated and also to check we were happy and no issues requiring attention. A beautiful property, well equipped with 2 bedrooms both with doors opening on to a patio. I have stopped at many cottages and this is one I will be returning to, its well positioned in the village with amenities such as the pub & COPP a short walk away with a 10min stroll to try train station to get into Lincoln for just over £6 and easier than park & ride.

Negative: Its not a dislike as such -parking is available at the venue, unfortunately any vehicle whose wheelbase is longer than a Fiat 500 is impossible to swing on to the gravel. BUT the landlord of the pub allows people to park in his car park just ask him and promise to buy & enjoy his fine selection of beers

Positive: Superb layout and huge kitchen and lovely having French doors from all rooms. Garden Real sun trap not overlooked and lots of birds to feed. Pub next door friendly and happy leave car in their car park. As large sums might find it tricky to drive I to property.

Positive: Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Lots of room, well equipped and very quiet. The village is great. A good choice of places to eat out or get takeaways. 10 minutes walk to the rail station.

Positive: WE stay here when we visit our daughter who lives in the village. The house is very pretty and very comfortable. Bedding and towels are of a good quality. The kitchen is well equipped and it was great to have a washing machine and a dishwasher. Good shower and plenty of spare loo roll. We particularly liked the welcome bottle of prosecco and basket of goodies. The house is on the centre of the village, down a quiet lane and walkable to the supermarket, takeaways and pubs.

Positive: The Stables were clean, warm and comfortable. They were well equipped, nicely furnished and all you would need. Also very near to the centre of Metheringham, with local shops, restaurant and take aways. All excellent

Negative: Access to the site was somewhat difficult and more advice on the arrival sheet would be helpfull. With the landlords permission you can park in the pub car park. Although the property was next to a pub, there was no problem with the pub customers or noise.

Positive: The stables were decorated to a high standard, and every facility you needed was provided, and more. Overall, the house was beautiful. The owners were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. They also left a lovely welcome basket, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The location is great for exploring around Lincoln, I would definitely recommend staying at the stables and can't wait to be back in the near future.
