The Hut is a wonderfully warm, private and peaceful residence. Located in Potterhanworth, it is just a 10-minute drive into the historic city of Lincoln with its many wonderful restaurants, bars and clubs. Lincoln has much to offer for all age groups and interests, with the castle and cathedral being the main attractions. Potterhanworth itself is a quiet village and the road on which the Hut is located leads into a bridle-path, ensuring a quiet and peaceful stay.
The Hut itself is a well-equipped studio with under-floor heating, a fully functioning kitchen, en-suite bathroom and comfortable double bed. Wi-Fi is included and network details are provided on check in, the television is a modern smart TV and guests can log onto their own Netflix or Amazon Prime accounts if they so wish and BBC iPlayer is included. There is plenty of room for luggage storage and hanging rails if needed. Summary: The property is as described. Compact kitchen but quite usable. Bed was very comfy, although not easy to get in and out of on one side. Excellent shower. Lovely upstairs sitting & reading room, with a desk area. An excellent smart TV, but viewing it from the sofa is a bit cramped if wanting to watch for more than an hour or so. Our only slight drawback would be that the upstairs window (skylights and largish window) do not have any means of blacking out the light. So, in times of early sunrise, do take some eye-masks. Teresa and David were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. It's situated in a lovely peaceful village, with good walking. Unfortunately, the local pub decided to have shorter meal hours while we were there and we couldn't book for an evening. However, we had a lovely stay and would happily stay again if we were to revisit the Lincoln area.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at The Hut which is nestled in the Lincolnshire countryside with excellent walks and nature on the doorstep. Additionally, Lincoln is a 10-minute drive so superb amenities are close-by too (if you want them). My husband and I are in the process of moving from Miami, FL to a place in Lincolnshire. Our time at The Hut felt like being at home. We had everything we needed in a lovely, clean, well-looked after space. Teresa is an amazing host who went above and beyond in making our stay so enjoyable. Really a stand-out time at The Hut!
