Summary: Lovely attentive hosts - very clean and comfortable room - the star was the cooked breakfast, cooked perfectly, with best quality ingredients and a big pot of fresh tea and coffee - absolutely fantastic. Thanks Chris and Julie for a lovely experience - we will be back.

Summary: If you're a bit unsure about staying at a place for the first time you need have no worries about booking the Southgate B&B. Starting with the warm and friendly welcome from the hosts upon arrival everything was all you could wish for- from the cleanliness and comfort of the accommodation to the impressive breakfast in the morning.Would have no hesitation in booking again!

Summary: Super bed and breakfast. The proprietors were warm and friendly. It was spotlessly clean and the room well decorated and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and overall service. Would highly recommend it for a stay near the Yorkshire coast.
