Positive: The Landlord was very flexible and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. Quiet old pub with good beer. Room comfortable with good shower

Positive: Lovely old pub with lovely friendly staff. Food was delicious both dinner and breakfast. Dogs were made welcome. Would definitely stay there again.

Negative: The stairs to the bedrooms were very steep and difficult for us both in our 70's carrying a suitcase.

Positive: Wonderful old building that deserves to get used and protected. Landlord is friendly and attentive and has only just re-taken over the pub. shower fabulously hot and roomy. I only had apple crumble so cannot comment on the evening food. Really near Dufton for The Pennine Way

Positive: We arrived late and Peter the landlord was so accommodating. We only stayed for one night as a stop over for work but will definitely be back. The rooms are lovely and clean and very comfortable and breakfast was amazing. (I’m very fussy and I definitely would recommend staying here) bonnie and Clyde the dogs also give a nice feel to the stay. Mike and Lottie.
