From the moment we arrived, we were met with such a warm welcome that immediately made us feel at home. The cottage's location is simply beautiful and incredibly peaceful, offering a serene escape from the everyday hustle. We particularly appreciated the very well-equipped kitchen, which we made excellent use of throughout our stay. It had everything we needed and more!

Positive: The welcome was lovely, gift bags for the kids and a care package, milk,tea, coffee and cake! After a long journey with young kids a nice surprise. The cottage was well stocked, with a parasol, barbecue, beach towels and board games. Approachable host who was eager to help.

Negative: Being 6ft myself, the beds were a little shorter than I would like. Nothing else to not like.

Positive: Self catering but hosts provided a selection of food that was over and above expectations. They enquired discreetly after our welfare periodically which was much appreciated and checked that we were well supplied with towels etc.

Negative: Nothing. I would not want to nit-pick!

Positive: Very clean and new, very comfy beds. Excellent kitchen facilities and fabulous welcome pack. The opportunity to have a cup of tea and scone with cream and jam on arrival was much appreciated

Negative: Nil, will look to book again next time we are back in the area
