Summary: My husband and I and our dog Harry, had a wonderful week at Greetham Retreat. Our cottage accommodation was delightful and very warm on the cold autumn evenings, though we did manage to sit out in the lovey grounds on a couple of occasions during the afternoon sunshine. The owners have a very hands-on approach, and make everyone feel very welcome - nothing is ever too much trouble. The location of Greetham Retreat is excellent for touring the Wolds and the Lincolnshire coast line. There are some wonderful restaurants in the locality, and numerous coffee shops to be found in Louth and Horncastle. A must to visit is the FAT SEAGULL in Sandylands - their Ploughman's lunch is unmatched! If you are looking for a quite week away in wonderful surroundings with comfortable cottage accommodation, then you will not do better then a visit to Greetham Retreat. I can most certainly say that I would go back for another visit, but we liked it so much, we bought a house nearby instead. Jackie Hart 1st to 8th October 2016
