Positive: Good location. Great value for money. Room was spacious and clean. Public bath was huge. Good breakfast buffet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent noodle restaurant literally just across the road.

Negative: Nothing.

Positive: The Onsen was wonderful and in a great location we had a great breakfast with lots of options. Dinner was a beautiful traditional Japanese cuisine.

Summary: Welcoming & relaxing the staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble including helping me find a pharmacy for me

Positive: The breakfast spread was good and we enjoyed our 4 mornings of good breakfast. It is Japanese style mixed with some western, there are juices, tea, coffee and desserts. The staff serving breakfast was very polite and neat. What we like best is the private room Japanese dinner which we enjoyed for the 3 nights. Very exclusive and different night, different menu. On our last night our dinner was changed from 2nd floor to the 10 floor which allow us to see the night scene of this little town. I highly recommend this for family or honey moon couple. We booked 3 rooms and requested for our rooms to be next to one another and the hotel helped us with this request. The Onsen in this Ryoken was clean and comfortable both indoor and outdoor. Walking from Tendo station to here is about 15 mins. The room is super comfortable, clean, shower and WC separated, well furnished in Japanese style. If I have a chance, will return.

Negative: There are more locals that tourist here which is better. Hopefully the hotel's business do not expand into more mass volume tourist which will spoil the tranquility and embience.

Positive: Staff was very hospitable and made it easy to navigate the area. Would stay again as it is a 15 minute walk from the train station. ( they do take you to and from station when you arrive and leave).
