Huge and sunny architect-designed two bedroom flat in the heart of Plaza San Miguel. Wifi, AC, elevator. Tastefully decorated with trendy furniture and 3 balconies facing the street, it's the perfect refuge for a luxury stay in Madrid.
The space
The apartment is located in Plaza de San Miguel, with a beautiful view of the famous Mercado San Miguel!! Steps away from Plaza Mayor, Sol, the palace, the cathedral and Gran Vía.
Is in the middle of one of the most important and historical street in Madrid 'Calle Mayor', and it has just been extensively renovated (everything is brand new:). With two separate bedrooms and one full bathroom, it's perfect for families, a group of friends, or 2 couples.
The apartment is on the third floor of a building WITH ELEVATOR. The bedrooms faces a inside patio ensuring no street noise during your night rest:)
Guest access
The apartment, furniture and amenities are all new. It has:
*Two bedrooms with a queen sized bed, and opened closet.
*Living room with dining table for 4, sofa and several designer armchairs, TV and open kitchen.
*Fully equipped kitchen with 50' TV and everything you need to cook and eat: stove, microwave with grill, refrigerator, kettle, toaster, and more.
*Laundry area with washing machine (with laundry soap provided!).
*Elevator
* Wi-Fi is also available; we know that’s essential! ;)
* Central Air conditioning/Heating
*Baby cot is availble under demand with a 15€ extra fee.
Top end fresh linen and towels are provided, as well as an iron, hair dryer, etc. We also provide maps and information on Madrid as well as basic kitchen ingredients. One set of hand towel and shower towel per person per stay up to 7 nights will be provided. If more are required, there will be a charge of 10 euros per set.
No smoking in the apartment. In case of smoking, we will charge €100 as penalty.
If you think there is something missing, we'd be happy to have your feedback in order to continue improving the apartment.
Due to the nature of the lock, the loss of keys entails a cost of 150€.
•Parties are not allowed, nor is any loud noise after 10pm in the apartment or at any time in the common areas of the building (entrance, stairwells, elevator if applicable). We kindly request you to keep the volume to a minimum when in these common areas. We care about our neighbours and respect for them is a must. If we receive well-founded complaints from any neighbour regarding the behaviour of guests, you'll be immediately requested to leave the apartment and Airbnb will be notified. You will also have to pay a 200 euro penalty. We are very flexible and easy-going people, but disturbances to neighbours are a real issue. There are noise measurement devices installed in the apartment.

Summary: Well appointed flat in a wonderful location. Picture and description accurate. Building is well maintained with quiet neighbors. Good communication with the property owner. Close to supermarkets and pharmacy. Walking distance to bus and metro. Spotty WiFi service for television watching ( we were there during the Euro Cup). I also didn’t love that payment was not done via VRBO, but otherwise easy enough. The extra deposit requested in addition to booking cost was odd and I haven’t received a response regrading reimbursement so that is an open issue that I hold comment on until resolved.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay! The apartment was perfect for our needs. The decor and amenities were excellent. You can’t beat the location with many destinations within walking distance and easy access to the metro. Fantastic restaurants are right around the corner. Communication with the owners and agency was great - very responsive and attentive! We plan on returning to Madrid and will definitely stay here again!

Summary: Great place to stay when visiting the historic district of Madrid. Convenient location to many sites and restaurants. San Miquel market is a few steps from the front door and a wonderful atmosphere. The apartment was spacious and excellent shower.

Summary: Property was next to the San Miguel Mercado and steps away from the Plaza Mayor. A few minutes To walk to the Puerta Del Sol the heart of the city with everything you need dinner, drinks , shops and people watch. The apartment was spacious and clean.
