Summary: We stayed for Thanksgiving, 2024. I'm sure the property was once a beautiful home. Today, the inside is dark, tired and worn. Although the home offers a beautiful view onto the pond, its hard to see through the filthy windows throughout the house. Two days before arriving we were informed the 2nd floor bathroom was leaking and therefore could not be used. The living room had a huge water stain in the ceiling leaving a musty smell in the air. Although the home has two fireplaces in the photos, there were signs on the fireplaces that they were not to be used. Wish we were informed of these issues beforehand, we would have looked for another property. So sad, how this once beautiful property is not being properly manitained. There have been several reviews in the past about some of these issues and it appeaars they just dont get addressed.

Summary: There were 2 issues I brought to Vacasa's attention the morning of our first day and each time I texted them they promised that the "local" team would get right back to me. Nobody got back to me until about noon on our 3rd day (our last full day) and then all she did was tell me the issues would be relayed to the owner and nothing could be done to fix them during my stay. Both issues could be easily handled by a handy man (a door knob that fell off from the back door to the patio, and some missing grout in the upstairs shower, which made that shower unusable), but the local manager offered no such solution. Also, my request for some additional soap bars and a box of Kleenex was ignored. I'm very disappointed with Vacasa's lack of follow-up and will try to avoid using properties managed by them in the future.

Summary: While the interior of the property is quite dated and offers limited amenities, the access to the lake is absolutely outstanding. The Vacasa staff was very helpful and responsive.

Summary: There is a great deal to be improved with what could be an incredible MV home! Here are a few major concerns and disappointments we had with this home: (1) there is a SIGNIFICANT leak in the ceiling and anytime the shower was used it was like it was raining in the living room. We were told to make sure the shower curtain was inside the tub. It was indeed inside every single time. Towards the end of the week we (all of us) just used the shower downstairs as we grew tired of putting out a bucket to catch the water. (2) The house SMELLED as though it had been shut and closed for a year. The musty, moldy damp smell would NOT dissipate! (3) The main level of the home was VERY damp all of the time. My daughter constantly asked, “why does everything feel so moist down here?" (4) The bedroom in the primary bedroom was AWFUL. The headboard is NOT connected to the bed and just leaning against the wall so anytime someone sits on the bed, lays on the bed, etc it clanks against the wall quite loudly. (5) The same bedroom, the bed is the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever experienced. There is a significant dip in the center of the bed so two people will immediately roll to the center whenever they lay down. I had to sleep on the couch most nights; (6) Minor annoyance, there is no place to put soap in the primary bedroom shower; (7) Any guidance and labels on the light switches so it was obvious what turns on what would've been great and which outlets were functioning and which were not

Summary: The house is like a museum! The property grounds are breath taking. However, be prepared to not have privacy. The neighbors use the boat dock for their boat and roam in and out through the yard at all hours!

Summary: This house is like a museum! It’s beautiful inside and out. The home wasn’t as private or secluded as I’d hoped. The owner lets the neighbors park their boat at the dock so they roll up on you while you’re sunbathing, looking in the window at you while you’re in bed and roam back and forth through the yard at all hours of the night. This was the only flaw for me and it’s a big one when you pay almost a 1000 a night to have privacy and peace.

Summary: We absolutely loved our visit here! The house was beautiful, comfortable, and clean. The outside views and grounds were amazing! We enjoyed having our morning coffee, eating breakfast, and watching the boats drive by while we were sitting on the back patio. The kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to do any cooking. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. We hope to come back and visit again!

Summary: The location and beauty of the landscape is amazing. And the house itself is old world -beautiful and comfortable. The views of the water and the private dock from the livingroom and bedrooms are stunning. However, the house lighting badly needs an upgrade. many switches don't work and the few standing lamps and sconse lighting (some of which don't even work) are completely inadequate to the size of the rooms. It wouldn't take much to transform the experience of the evenings in the home--some well-placed track lighting would do it. Similarly, some inexpensive kitchen items are unneccesarily unhelpful ( ex: 2 out of the 4 slots for the toaster don't work, etc. ).
