Wake up surrounded by amazing water views in our sunny, airy beach house! The open floor plan gives you great views from every room in the house. Main level has a kitchen, living room, king bedroom, bathroom, and access to decks with beautiful water views. The lower level has a queen bedroom, a living room with a sleeper sofa, and walk-out access to a patio, with stairs down to the private beach.
Enjoy the lounge chairs on the beach, swim in the lagoon, or have kayaks dropped off right to the beach by any of the rental companies in Vineyard Haven. It's a beautiful, private setting, great for swimming, paddle boarding, fishing, etc. We have central air conditioning and heat as needed. We have WiFi, cable tv, and Apple TV's for streaming, or enjoy games in the living room while looking out at the beautiful water views!
The house is 1.7 miles from downtown Vineyard Haven with shopping and restaurants. The bus stop is less than ½ mile walk from the house. The bus comes frequently and goes all over the island. There is parking for 3 cars in the 2 driveways.
The house is on a single lane dirt road, which can be bumpy at times. Access from Park Ave is the smoothest way to the house, but beware that GPS often guides you in via Border Rd, which is much bumpier. Small cars can/do make it, but if you have the option for a SUV you may be more comfortable.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home overlooking Lagoon Pond. We appreciated that the house was well stocked with everything you might need in the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry area. Dan was a great host - easy to communicate with and prompt to respond. We plan to stay here again next year!

Summary: This two level home is perched on a beautiful hill overlooking the lagoon in a quiet neighborhood near Vineyard Haven and a little further is Edgartown. There is access to a small beach with lounge chairs. We rented a kayak which was delivered by water from Vineyard Haven and it was lovely to be on the lagoon. The property is very clean and fully and thoughtfully loaded with all the comforts one would need - coffee, hair dryer, toiletries, towels, etc. There is a full kitchen, washer and dryer, detergents and dryer sheets. The house has three decks. Parking is on site and there is a beautifully manicured area from the parking site to the home. A groundskeeper cleaned the property during our stay. The photos are very accurate and the hosts are extremely responsive and welcoming. Our family of 5 greatly enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay here again.

Summary: What can I say! This home was perfectly situated on a private road and beach. The views were amazing. The home is tastefully decorated, comfortable and clean. There wasn’t one thing that I needed that wasn’t already in the home. From coffee pods to seasoning for those that chose to cook while on vacation. I would absolutely stay here again. Dan and Nikki were great hosts.

Summary: Our vacation was everything we wanted! The house was perfect for two couples who like to read, cook and laugh together. The internet access was very good, the kitchen well appointed. The beds! We slept like babies, I requested the brand of the mattress. Extremely clean and well maintained. We will be back.
