Positive: Thus is a small guest house with perhaps only 3 or 4 rooms. On a superficial level the premises is appealing to the eye, with a view of the ocean and volcano as backdrop. A porch replete with chair and table is attached to each unit.. A small bistro/reception is adjacent offering meals and drinks. The room itself has what one would expect, an air conditioner, king bed, small refrigerator, wardrobe, wash basin and bathroom. Overall the accommodation is of an OK standard, but there are a few problems....

Negative: The first issue is relatively minor. The air conditioner itself works fine but is positioned away from the bed itself, making it less effective. However the temperature is tolerable. The second problem is the lack of shower water pressure. Not so much the actual water flow rate but the shower head which is defective and retards discharge. Again, not a huge issue and one can live with it A bigger problem is noise. One source is the reception TV which permeates through a thin wall in the adjoining room.This could be reduced. But the source that the owner has little control over is the major problem and this is connected to the location. Because it hosts Hindu ceremonies, it is a focal point for people. No problem during the day, but unfortunately some local youths will park and play Indo club music super LOUD - at 1 am !!

Positive: The staff were super nice all the time. Everything I ordered from the restaurant was delicious. It's very worth it for the value.

Negative: The walls of the place are thin so sometimes in the morning you can hear some sounds, but it wasn't a problem for us tho. They provided earplugs

Positive: Great location near Buyuk Harbour. From the terrace of my room I could look out to a plaza and the ocean beyond. The beach was wonderful and uncrowded. Super friendly owners. A nice relaxing spot away from the hustle and bustle of Bali. I would gladly stay here again.

Positive: Sarinah Beach was the perfect, peaceful retreat for someone like me who likes to just chill by the ocean. The cozy and clean bungalow had a stunning sea view, and the friendly staff helped me out a lot. The bistro served delicious Indonesian food, and I loved the authentic, lively village atmosphere, with locals talking and kids playing in the evening/ night. I would say renting a scooter is a good idea if you want to explore more of Nusa Penida, as the area is a bit removed from other entertainment spots. 🩵🩵🩵🩵

Summary: Thank you, Sarinah Beach, for making my first time in Nusa Penida amazing!!!

Positive: Amazing location by the beach, cozy bungalows, and incredibly helpful staff who go above and beyond, even outside of the accommodation, highly recommend to swim in the beach next to it.

Negative: It can get a bit noisy at night, but it’s easy to handle.
