Positive: We stayed at Romantic Relais in Sorrento and everything was perfect! The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the service is excellent. The hotel also provides a shuttle service to the city, which is very convenient. One of the best things is that you can always contact the reception through WhatsApp – they reply immediately, ask how you are doing, and even remind you if you forget something. This made our stay feel very personal and cared for. I especially want to mention Luseppa – he works nonstop, always helping with everything and never gets tired. Truly impressive! Overall, we loved our stay and will definitely recommend Romantic Relais to our friends.

Positive: This is such a gorgeous property and Antonella and Guiseppe are wonderful. They went out of their way to adjust the shuttle to town around our schedule and offered excellent service. The breakfast is incredible and Antonella is an amazing baker; her cakes are extraordinary. The room was enormous and stunning, not to mention spotless. We enjoyed excellent service at this beautiful property.

Negative: We stayed in a room without the view and I would splurge for an ocean view room next time. We could not see the ocean at all from the property because we did not have an ocean view room. I had mistakenly assumed I would be able to see the ocean from other areas on the property but it was blocked by plant life.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at a stunning property with wonderful service.

Positive: Antonella, Giuseppe, Chiara and the whole team in Romantic Relais Sorrento were so warm and welcoming. They gave us surprise for our anniversary, best room we could possibly have in Sorrento with a view of Naples Bay and Mount Vesuvius. They provided room-serviced dinner at the balcony and reminded us of the firework show in downtown (visible in the balcony), and accommodated our constantly changing schedule of the shuttle service without hesitation. The room itself is very clean and tidy. Spacious and with local Sicilian/Southern Italian decorations, it’s the perfect base to enjoy the whole Amalfi Coast. Breakfast was amazing too with lots of options in hot and Continental food choices, coffee, juice, and desert selections. I would definitely give it a 10 out of 10 and we are already looking forward to our next visit in Romantic Relais before long!

Negative: Nothing. It’s perfect.

Summary: The best hotel we’ve experienced in Italy.

Positive: We were blown away by the terrace overlooking Vesuvius and the sunset and enjoyed having dinner out there. Antonella and Giuseppe are excellent hosts - they thought of every detail and always checked in to make sure everything was ok. The breakfast was great and the free shuttle into Sorrento town too.

Negative: No pool but we had so many day trips planned that we wouldn’t have had much time to use it anyway!

Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, perfect for relaxing. Breakfast on the terrace each morning was a real treat, with fresh pastries, fruit, and great coffee. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, offering great tips and making us feel truly welcome. It’s just a short ride to the center of Sorrento, but feels a world away from the crowds. If you’re looking for a quiet, romantic escape with amazing views and genuine hospitality, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back
