Casa Vida is located in Priora, roughly 6 km (3.7 miles) from Sorrento, where you will find restaurants, shops, public transportation, the beach and the tourist port. The nearest restaurant is approximately 50 metres from the apartment and SITA bus stop, which goes to Sorrento, Massa Lubrense and Nerano, is a few metres away. From the terrace and balcony, you will be facing the sea and the picturesque coast. The blue of the sea and the sky with the Gulf of Naples are visible before your eyes, not to mention the unmistakable cone-shaped outline of Mount Vesuvius.
Casa Vida is ideal for those looking to enjoy the wonderful sites of the area whilst having the perfect place to return to and relax after a fun filled, sight-seeing day.
Casa Vida is accessible from the free, private parking space, below the property, via 7 steps and a short upward slope. To enter the apartment, there is a separate, private entrance. As you enter the main door, there is a long corridor. On the right, is the kitchen which is warm and welcoming with beautiful, Maiolica tiles. There is a dining table and chairs and an air conditioning/heating unit. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, 4 hobs, a fridge/freezer, a double sink, a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster and a kettle. The kitchen boasts a sliding door onto a wonderful terrace (10 metres squared) where you can dine ‘al fresco’ whilst enjoying the fantastic views. The terrace is equipped with an outdoor table and chairs.
On the left, off the main corridor and opposite the kitchen, is the utility room. Here you will find a washing machine, a tumble dryer, a sink, iron and ironing board.
To access the bedrooms, continue along the corridor. The first door on your right, after the kitchen, is the main bedroom which is 18 metres squared. There is a double bed, a desk with a chair, a wardrobe, a TV and double doors which access the balcony. The balcony boasts the same wonderful coastal views. There is also an ensuite bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet, bidet and heated towel rail.
The second bedroom, which is 16 metres squared, is the next room on the right. It has two single beds (which can be made into a double on request) and a single sofa bed (for the 5th guest). This bedroom is also equipped with a wardrobe, a TV, desk and chair.
The main bathroom is at the end of the corridor on the left. Here you will find a sink, toilet, shower a heated towel rail, a small window and a bidet. Throughout the apartment, the beautiful Maiolica tiles add to the delightfulness of the whole property.

Summary: Really enjoyed our stay at Casa Vida! Umberto, the owner, was charming and accommodating. The flat has great views, easy drive down to Sorrento and is convenient for day trips to Ravello, Capri, Positano. The flat is well appointed and comfortable! Can’t wait to return.

Summary: I have never been pleasantly surprised by a property, rather we are always underwhelmed and slightly disappointed by inaccuracies and mis representation. Umberto is exactly as described in other reviews, lovely, extremely helpful and professional. He organized our transfers from Naples through his limo company and everything went perfectly. The flat is very clean, and he provided us with breakfast essentials and fresh oranges which was a lovely touch and very helpful since we arrived late in the day. There is no living space, we used the second bedroom to watch TV when it rained, but otherwise we were out and about all day so it didn't matter. Very happy with our stay.

Summary: Casa Vida is a lovely apartment, extremely clean and comfortable, with gorgeous tile work and fabulous wall-to-wall photos of the Amalfi coast on the walls of the 2 bedrooms and the hallway. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, eggs, milk, butter, jam, bread and fruit, plus every appliance one could want. The 2! bathrooms are luxurious and the showers boast a rain shower faucet from above. We had no car but the bus stop is conveniently located across the street and takes you directly to downtown Sorrento. Umberto was very friendly and helpful and gave us lots of local information. It is above a busy street, but the solid doors and shutters really helped to keep the noise at minimum. There is also a lovely restaurant just minutes down the road and they have a driver to transport you there and back, which is essential if you have no car. I would highly recommend this apartment for a comfortable stay and easy access to most towns of the coast via the Sorrento port.

Summary: The property is situated in Priora which is a 15 minute trip to Sorrento and a 10 minute trip to SantaAgata. The roads are impossible to walk on safely so you are reliant on transport. The Sita bus stops right outside but in almost always full going towards Amalfi. Taxis are easy. Umberto the host operates a transfer and tours business so there are lots of options for day trips. We did the explore Amalfi coast day trip which was very special and the driver spoke English quite well. We would love to come back and would in a heart beat. We thoroughly recommend the apartment and Umberto and all his team we met.

Summary: This property was great from start to finish. Location is beautiful. Very close to Sorrento, bus stop across the street if you don't have a car. Beautiful views from every room and the porch. Very clean, kitchen with new appliances, washer dryer.= - everything you could need to be comfortable and relax. Alfonso and his family were great host and were available if we needed anything. Highly recommended!!!
