Positive: We took a boat taxi from M’Pai hearing a jungle path might be too much and we weren’t wrong. We were met with a beautiful sand beach and not so many tourists (visited just before mid November). For those coming first time be aware you have to climb up and will be greeted at the resort’s restaurant. The process is fast and simple. We booked a tent and it was very clean and had a comfortable mattress with a beach view. Restaurant had very good prices and delicious food (you can pay with the card, be aware there is a 3% fee). We were given a possibility to leave the bags and stay at the resort’s premises after check out. Only regret is not staying longer. Those coming in earlier hours might get early check in possibility as we did. Staff is very attentive and spoke good English.

Negative: Three points. First one don’t expect good wifi. There is one but most of the time it’s not working. Second point, the toilets. Very usable but be aware of the animals like spiders and could be cleaner. That being said you are on the beach so make out of this whatever you want. Third: if you book a tent you might have noisy night due to animals and if close to restaurant surrounding people, walking and talking. Also if it rains, but of course that’s expected.

Positive: Definitely the best experience we had in Cambodia! Starting from adventurous short trek in the jungle to get there, by perfect stay in clean, spacious bungalow straight in front of the beach, eating amazing fresh local food, to the most friendly and welcoming staff who made us feel like home 🥰 would love to come back one day since the place is really a paradise :)

Positive: We love Robinson Bungalows. It's like the good ol days with open cabins and mosquito nets. Be warned that not everyone would like this open type jungle hut. (There's new enclosed huts too now). We delighted in it. The gecko above our heads kept us awake! Perfect! But it's not for everyone! It's also a 40 min hike and you need study shoes. You can get a boat around too. Bed super comfy. Small portable rechargeable fan given each day. Lovely food. Amazing wifi. Beautiful swimming beach. Amazing sunsets. Recommended. Our favourite place in Cambodia.

Positive: The food is okay, the location is good once you get there.

Negative: 1.) The fans are extremely small, not good at all! They are never fully charged so they go flat during the night. Other places along the strip have ceiling fans! And are just as nice for the same price. 2.) The walk there is absolutely terrible! Make sure you wear shoes! It is not very well marked where to go at all! For the price you pay you would think they would at least out more signs up helping visitors navigate their way from the other side of the island.

Summary: It’s okay, won’t stay there again, Sunboo would be the next choice!
