Positive: Sam was very nice all the time. Always caring about how we were doing and very helpful.

Negative: There is neirher hot water nor AC, although we already knew this before coming. The bed wasn’t really confortable and it made some noises. There wasn’t enough space for storage.

Positive: Fantastic stay, cannot recommend it enough. Aaron is a fabulous host along with his beautiful dog Kiki. Room was comfortable and clean with a dressing table and shelves next to the bed which I used for toiletries. Wall fan and stand alone fan. I used the wall fan at night only when sleeping. Bathroom was clean with cold shower, basin, and toilet. There's a communal lounge area, free filtered water (a bonus to save on plastic bottles). Aaron will help with any questions you have. M'Pai is a wonderful village with expats and Khmer families, so many places to eat and drink. Long Beach is a 10 min walk away. If you see any trash on the beach please pick it up and take it to the trash point which is half way up the beach. Every bit counts and you're helping the community and beach cleaners too. 5 nights wasn't enough. Would definitely stay again.

Positive: The owner was super friendly and helpful throughout the stay. I loved the location 200m up the road from the beach, close enough to be convenient to everywhere but far enough away to have a silent night's sleep. The restaurant directly across the road is probably the best in Mpay Bay too.

Negative: Aircon would be nice, but I don't think anywhere has this in Mpay Bay.

Positive: Aaron, the new owner, is super helpful and welcoming. The location is excellent just a stone’s throw from the beach but far enough to not hear the late night parties in the bars there. Good value for money, clean and basic rooms but all you need especially as you have shared access to the outdoor/indoor living area and bar (with a super cute and friendly dog too!)

Negative: I didn’t dislike anything, you’re on a paradise island so there are bugs and occasional patchy signal or cooler showers than you might experience on the main land but it’s worth (and that won’t change anywhere you stay!)

Summary: Welcoming, homely and comfortable stay - looking forward to the next time I can visit!

Positive: Lovely guesthouse in a great location near all the restaurants and beaches in M’Pai bay. Sam was so nice and welcoming. All her pets were so relaxed and friendly, one of her dogs even sings which was so funny to see! The living room area feels very homely. A great place to say if you want to relax for a few days

Negative: Gets a bit hot in the room but Sam provided two fans which helped a lot!

Positive: Sam’s place was such a little haven in M’Pai Bay with everything you need and more, even snorkels and games, books etc. The location is so ideal and the room has everything you need for comfort. She was such a great host and made our stay in Koh Rong Samloem so special I can’t wait to return one day (and hopefully see Sam again)!!
