Positive: The bungalows are spacious and beautifully furnished. We loved the location at the beach, the excellent restaurant, the sustainability focus and the hospitality of Cori and the lovely dogs! And of course the wonderful sunsets!

Positive: First, to reach this amazing part of the island, our piece of advice is to travel as light as you can. The jungle trail leading you there is as amazing as it is demanding in the last bit, which is totally immersed in nature and quite steep. Once you reach the end, you will find pure paradise and the best hosts you can hope for. Paulo and Cori welcomed us with a passion fruit lemonade as a reward and from there on everything has been just wonderful. You'll live directly in nature, surrounded by the jungle and admiring the sea - amazing even when wavy and rainy. The food is so so tasty! Thanks for Paulo and Cori for being always so attentive and for the fun time spent together, we'll never forget it and.. we will be back! :)

Positive: Wonderful stay at Sunboo, we were sad to leave! The bungalows are really comfortable and I loved the toiletries provided. Bar and restaurant area is lovely and also a great place to meet other guests. Particularly loved 'film night'! The food is the best on the island and everything we had was delicious. You also have other restaurants along the beach that do great food too, loved the paella at Kamaku. Paolo and Cori (sorry if the spelling is wrong!) are the best hosts making you feel welcome as soon as you arrive and explaining the community ethos of sunset beach. We truly hope to be able to stay there again one day.

Positive: We would come back anytime again for the beautiful beach, the friendly community and the good food. Any drawbacks are stated either in the description or by other travellers - shortly, you should be a nature person, willing to carry your bags across the island and you should not expect a luxury accommodation. Still, the room and the bed were actually comfy and clean. There was a nice breeze inside the room and the mosquito net worked perfectly. Also plenty of hooks and shelves to put your things. I can only recommend this place for a relaxing beach vacation :)
