Positive: Fantastic location, pool, staff, food… everything was truly great, we would love to return! However, we likely won’t because they were so painful about accepting US dollars—which they requested in advance.
Negative: They were too difficult about accepting US dollars! We were warned to bring cash, so I went to the bank and got US dollars before we left, but OMG, it was almost as if they were searching for reasons to decline our bills. They only accepted 50% of our bills, claiming they were damaged. Some had been folded in half, which is an exclusion. Some had the corners slightly folded or a tiny warn, or a small mark on the bill. Not kidding they inspected each bill for 30-40 seconds each. They even declined bills they had given us as change!! So be prepared to pay 4% more when you’re forced to pay by credit card, which is crazy when you have hundreds in fresh bank notes in your purse! During 3 weeks on Cambodia they were the only hotel to be so difficult. Too bad.

Positive: Idyllic location, cleverly designed and aesthetically appealing bungalows, great food, excellent staff, fabulous sunset. Very relaxing location.
Negative: The walk down to Sunset beach is quite steep and signage could be better

Positive: Location on sunset beach was perfect. Restaurant and bar were great and offered great selection. Room and bathroom were very clean Central location on beach an easy to walk there from ferry and to get to other bars and restaurants on the beach. Staff lovely and helpful.
Summary: Amazing location, paradise, go before it changes too much. Development is coming sadly!
