Positive: A charming place with friendly staff. Some staff spoke English, others did not, but we made it work with translation apps as needed. Breakfast was a good value and very convenient. Location is good, but it is a 15-20 minute walk to the tourist spots in town. The free washing machine with plenty of room to hang dry your clothes on the roof was very welcome. Comfortable platform bed and amazing air conditioning! Nice bathroom as well.

Negative: I would've been nice to have a rack to put my suitcase on. But overall, a very nice place to stay.

Positive: During our trip in China we always experienced great hospitality, but the staff in Riverside Inn was particularly kind and ready with every request (we asked for takeaway breakfast on our last day 5 minutes before leaving and they arranged it in zero time, awesome). Also we were supposed to get a room without a view on the river, but since there was such a room available they upgraded ours to a room with view without any additional fee.

Negative: Small gripe, but the people living next door were v noisy during one night, but when requested did quieten down

Positive: The property is a bit old but very clean and the staff is very helpful. Definitevly good value for money

Negative: The lobby and restaurant areas are a bit simple but still very clean
