Positive: This Resort is a literal dream, especially if you want to relax but still be close to the city centre of Guilin. It is located in a lovely park and there is a shuttle provided to get you to the resort. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The pool and the whirlpool are amazing. The room was also quite big and very comfortable.

Negative: No possibility to eat or drink in the hotel. No bar, restaurant. No English speaking staff. Very poor breakfast. Wifi was not working.

Positive: The hotel is located inside a park right in the middle of the city. Cars cannot go in and guests are transported by golf carts to the hotel site. It’s a tranquil place with lots of greens. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Negative: Breakfasts provided are very simple and mostly Chinese basic food. The whole dining hall is not very clean. The property is right next to the river, so the hotel can be flooded when it rains heavily. We could not get our luggage back until the water subsided and we had to take a later train.

Summary: Pleasant stay except the hiccup.
