A quiet 1 bedroom guesthouse sleeps 2-4 located on a farm on the hills of Arroyo Grande, California with breath taking panoramic mountain views. Guest house sits on 6.47 acres of land where you can enjoy a relaxing quiet spot away. The kitchen has concrete countertops with an open floor plan. Enjoy the wrap around couch (sleeper) and views of mountains and Pismo Beach through huge roll up doors. The bedroom has a new Nectar king size bed with new hand scraped oak flooring, beautiful views of the rolling oak trees, and a bright clean bathroom with a tiled shower. There is an outside jacuzzi - great for an evening soak. Adirondack seating with outside fireplace - the perfect spot to relax at night under the stars.
Oprah calls San Luis Obispo the happiest place in America. We are a 10-minute drive to beaches such as Pismo, Avila, Oceano and Shell Beach
(you can even ride your bike!). The village of Arroyo Grande with quaint shops and local restaurants is a 5-minute drive. 10 minutes to San Luis Obispo airport and 20 minutes to the town of San Luis Obispo. Beautiful Arabian horses are around the corner and we have over 28 vineyards very close by to visit. No pets on furniture and on leash while outdoors. Also visit our other vrbo at mcmutter farms.

Summary: We spent 3 nights in Thom's lovely guest house and although it rained most of the time, we were warm, comfy and happy. The beautiful views from the floor to ceiling windows brought the outside in. Our dog particularly loved watching for the occasional kitty or bird and we did have some clearing a few nights to catch the sunset. It was very COLD while we were there and the pellet wood stove and heated bed kept us comfortable. The path to the cottage has a few steps but it's not too steep at all.. Keep the path in mind for unloading/loading. The neighborhood road is a little steep for a senior dog walk (like ours) but she loved walking by the goats and chickens every day. There are incredible views everywhere you go on the property. We woke to snow covered mountains due to the rare weather we had while there! Thom was available for all of our questions and when we needed help (thanks, Thom!) Highly recommended

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very quiet, clean and perfectly located. The jacuzzi under the stars was enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Spent the weekend with my sister and brother. The view from the front patio is amazing - great place to write and meditate. I think the living room looked better than the pictures- the couch is very comfortable. No dining table but none was required by us on this lazy weekend of making easy meals and drinking wine with our own charcuterie. Definitely plan on coming back. I want to thank the owners for offering such a great space.

Summary: We loved our stay at this unique property. - So much skilled woodwork at every turn. Perfect size for 4 adults and two small dogs who were and and about for most of the daytime - great outdoor space to enjoy the sunset - we loved watching the stars from the hot tub.
