Beautiful one bedroom guesthouse with private entrance. Hummingbird Cottage is a 15-minute walk to historical downtown Arroyo Grande which hosts boutiques, restaurants, bars, bakeries, coffee houses, groceries & antique shops. We are a 10-minute car ride to Pismo Beach, Lopez Lake and surrounded by award-winning wineries. For more adventure, AG is a Central Coast treasure and only three (3) hours from SF & LA. So come unwind in peace after a fun day of adventures!
WELCOME to our home! This charming guest home is in the center of Arroyo Grande and less than a 10-minute drive to the best beaches, shopping and wineries that California has to offer. This spacious cottage is a great base to explore all the natural beauty on the Central Coast.
We accept one smaller doggie guest with the understanding that you and your furry loved one will take care of the home like it was your own.
The guest home has a large living space, a separate bedroom and one bathroom. It is approximately 550 sq. feet and will accommodate a max of four guests comfortably. The kitchen is fully stocked and set up for cooking with a full refrigerator, oven and microwave. Dining area set up with a table and chairs for having a great meal or doing some work. The living area has a couch with can be made into a queen bed and a comfortable chair for relaxing. There is also a charming patio for coffee in the morning or to drink wine and relax and unwind after a long day.
The home has its own separate entrance and patio with street parking. The unit does have a shared wall with the main home and we have taken steps to minimize sounds, however you may occasionally hear us moving around. This home is located in a nice, residential neighborhood so we ask that you be respectful of the area and the neighbors. We have excellent, reliable, unshared Wi-Fi that you can access.
We are happy to give you information about our area and give you some insider tips if you wish or we can give you complete privacy.
Hummingbird is ready for anything from a fun filled weekend to a much longer stay!
ONE BEDROOM:
There is ONE large bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed with a Tempurpedic mattress. There is a dresser, mirrors, and a reading lamp. This also has an entrance to the patio so you can walk outside and enjoy your morning coffee. The ottoman and couch also turn into beds for extra guests or kiddos!
ONE BATHROOM:
The bathroom has a great shower and bathtub with good water pressure. We do have a blow dryer and a full set of towels for your use as well as a shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. The medicine cabinet is also fully stocked with incidentals in case you forgot any necessities like a sleeping mask, toothbrush, toothpaste, makeup wipes, etc.
LIVING AREA:
The living area has a comfy couch, an extra chair, and a Smart TV with ROKU, Peacock, Hulu and Netflix.
KITCHEN
We have a full kitchen with all the items you would require to cook your favorite meal, if you so choose. It is a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, coffeemaker, stove, microwave, blender, and wine opener to enjoy any bottles you may have purchased on your adventures.
ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES OR SMOKING IN THE HOME. We do have a Ring Doorbell on the front door only and it is not monitored unless needed for security purposes.

Summary: We had a fantastic stay at Hummingbird Cottage! The home was very clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful — she answered all our questions promptly and even let us know about a local boil water notice (which thankfully didn’t affect the cottage).The location was ideal — close to downtown Arroyo Grande and convenient to shops and restaurants. Everything went smoothly, and we experienced no issues during our stay. Bonus: it’s pet-friendly, so we’re already looking forward to returning with our dog next time. Highly recommended!

Summary: My husband and I had a great stay (with our dog) at this well decorated, well equipped one-bedroom in a lovely neighborhood in Arroyo Grande. Full kitchen, comfortable living room, and a nice small private patio. Arroyo Grande Village is really cute with some nice shops, restaurants and coffee places and the village has a nice slow pace. We’ll be back - thanks!

Summary: Great, cozy little place tucked away in the trees. Loved the peace and quiet. We could hear the coyotes yipping in the hills sitting out on the cute patio one night. It’s the perfect place to stay if you don’t want to be at the beach!
