Positive: Hotel was in a great location. Cleanliness was passable All interactions with staff were positive

Negative: The bathroom door had a significant gap, on the side, so not only could you not close it, you could see , hear and smell when someone was using it It was noisy , but to be expected from a very central area

Positive: We particularly like the charming feel of the building and characteristic rooms. The beds were comfortable and the room temperate. We visited in January and despite the original ceiling-to-floor windows the room was surprisingly warm! So much so we had to turn the thermostat down.

Negative: Our only complaints were the lack of options to store clothing and personal items in the room. Additionally, we felt like the room needed something where guests can sit at and enjoy a coffee etc., because we had to use a bed as a seating area when in the room.

Positive: The staff. The location. The price. The facilities. The stroopwaffels in the reception. I’ve stayed in Amsterdam many times and I would come back to this hotel for sure.

Negative: The bed was slightly uncomfortable.

Positive: The location could not be better for seeing the sites and many within walking distance! For those that weren’t, the tram and metro system is really easy to navigate and accessible from the hotels front doorstep. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished with a good sized bathroom and very comfortable bed. Also has a small fridge which is handy and not always included in every hotel.

Negative: The main elevator for room access was broken so there were some stairs to carry bags up. The hotel makes it as easy as possible though with another elevator that can get you 80% of the way to your floor.

Negative: The mattress and the toilet were very disappointing. It was a very small bathroom and it wasn't private enough. Also, it wasn't convenient that the sink was out of the bathroom
