Summary: My family had a wonderful experience. Staff was so accommodating. We were a large family ,had a couple of rooms. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

Summary: When we got there, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. Then when we asked for some the lady at the front desk only was going to give us a tiny roll. We had to beg for a second one. There was two fire places but no matches possibly because other people took them and other stuff was missing. The lights in the room had some issues and one of the main lamps was completely broken. When we told the lady at the front desk she gave us light bulbs to fix it so I guess it was a DIY situation. Good thing I'm good with electronics but I know my stepdad would have been lost. I figured out that when I moved the lamp it still didn't work so the actual lamp was broken. They eventually replaced it a day later with a lamp that had a bunch of tape on the wire. I sort of felt like an inconvenience to the lady at the front desk asking for essentials like toilet paper. The guy the next morning was really nice so I didn't feel that way. That being said it's a beautiful hotel but it is older so I do get some stuff may not work. There are very few outlets since it is old and I recommend a power strip and extension cords if you go. If you understand that it is from a time before all our electronic addictions and are cell phone habits, its a nice place to get away from technology because there are only two channels with Bonanza and other old programs. I'm not sure why they have a tv channel guide in the room when only two stations worked. This hotel is about a simpler time.

Summary: Every staff member we’re encountered was extremely friendly & helpful. Being able to park in a nearby lot was essential and most convenient. We stayed in a room at the very end of a hallway & had complete peace & quiet. The neighborhood is considered Japantown and was very walkable & safe. We also were able to walk a few blocked to use public transportation. Overall great stay for our one night in San Francisco.

Summary: The Queen Anne Hotel is a beautiful Victorian building. It’s decorated with gorgeous woodden carved furniture. It has spacious lobby and library with a nice fireplace. The room was lovely with a comfortable bed and a walking closet. It was decorared also with beautiful furniture, drapes and lamps from the 19th century. The Hotel serves a good breakfast in a large dinning room. The Hotel is at a walking distance from Japan town where you can find nice restaurant and stores. The Queen Anne Hotel it’s truly a jewel in San Francisco City.

Summary: The Queen Anne Hotel’s unusual period character and the helpful staff made our stay there a real pleasure. Quaint, flowery furniture, porcelain, and an impressive collection of English hunting-themed art made it always interesting, though some areas verge on being cluttered. Our small room was dominated by a huge bed, with a mattress and carpet that had seen better days. The (included) breakfast was much the same as any standard motel breakfast, but sherry and cookies in the afternoon raise the tone. The location, close to Japantown and within walking distance of City Hall, Davies Hall and the Asian Art Museum, made it especially convenient. We would certainly consider staying here again.

Summary: The hotel lobby is nice and continental breakfast was good. The room is old and smelt musty when walking in. No central air so air does not circulate. There is a tall oscillating fan to provide some air I the room. The room could use some updates, such as a new bedspread and shower curtain. The shower liner was dirty and stained at the bottom. Not the most inviting thing to see when bathing. Definitely needs to be replaced. The bathroom sink did not drain well, so water would build up when using. Not sure why someone cleaning room hasn’t reported that by now.
