THE SUITE (Casa Comoda II)
Loma Linda, 115 Calle Hortensia, is a well kept complex in the Amapas area of Puerto Vallarta.
Large, airy and spacious corner suite with terracotta floors throughout, accented with carved wood doors and authentic Mexican art and collectibles. Solid wood-framed glass folding doors open completely onto the terrace on the front and sides of the suite, giving you the feeling of being outside even indoors. Beautiful rustic wood finishings give the suite a very authentic feel.
The suite has a huge built-in concrete base sectional sofa (common in Mexico) with memory foam, perfect for entertaining or sleeping. The sofa sleeps two people comfortably...even tall people!
TV/MOVIES
Smart TV available for those nights you want to throw on Netflix and cozy up on the couch with the breeze blowing in from the Bay.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is newly renovated, with lots of cupboard space, a large island, full-sized fridge, gas stove and plenty of dishes, pots and pans, utensils...everything you need if you like to make your own meals. There is a water filtration/purification system installed for clean water access, attached to a fridge water dispenser. Fridge also has ice maker.
As well, off the kitchen is a full-sized clothes washer and dryer.
Coffee addict? It comes equipped with three different coffee machines--cappuccino maker, drip coffee and a Kurig. Bring your favourite coffee and you're good to go, whatever your taste!
TERRACE
The huge terrace overlooks Banderas Bay and gives you panoramic, stunning views of the ocean. It has a gas-powered outdoor grill on the terrace. Feel like a steak or fish-fry? Light 'er up and enjoy a barbeque'd meal in the magical open air while you marvel at the 2nd largest bay in the Western Hemisphere.
MASTER BEDROOM
The large master bedroom is very self-contained, with its own bathroom and vanity area. The bedroom/bathroom can be closed off by a door to the rest of the suite when you want some privacy. The room has a set of large, glass doors that open up onto the terrace, and folding windows on the other side overlooking Banderas Bay. Open up the doors and the windows to the outside in the morning to have a spectacular, breezy, lazy day in bed with a cup of coffee!
SECOND BEDROOM
The second bedroom is on the opposite side of the suite, which makes it very private, and has its own access to a common-area guest bathroom. There is a small balcony off the bedroom which faces the pretty, well-manicured walkway and vegetation of the complex. This room has two twin beds which can be put together and topped with a king-sized sheet to make one bed. Both bedrooms have tons of closet space.
AIR CONDITIONING
The bedrooms each have an easy-to-use remote access air-conditioning unit, which works very quickly on those days you need to cool down, or for those extra warm nights. Although most of the time you want to feel the warm, tropical breeze, it's nice to cool down on the hotter days.
HOT WATER
Many places in Mexico have small hot water tanks due to the cost of electricity. This means that you can run out of hot water mid-shower. We have installed Hot Water on Demand to give you a limitless supply, because it heats it as you use it. No cold showers halfway through!
MAID SERVICE
Included with your stay, the maid comes six days a week (except for Sundays) to keep you tidy! With the cleaning you will get new sheets and towels. It is customary to leave a tip for her at the end of your stay.
POOLS
This property has two pool areas: one is the main heated pool with a bar area where you can host your own pool party. The second is a smaller rooftop pool, with incredible views of the ocean, located on the rooftop of the adjoining building just above the main pool area. It has a small pool meant for lounging and even more panoramic views.

Summary: This place was amazing. Looks just like the pictures great views of the ocean. I will recommend taking an Uber to and from the airport half of the taxi to get there, I would also inform that to and from downtown in the romantic zone, to the ocean is not a walk for the meek. I am in shape, so it was fine, but it was an uphill incline, lots and lots of stairs, the saltwater pools were lovely. The grounds were amazing, but both hot tubs jets did not work for the Jacuzzi and the water was not hot or different from the pool water. Make sure to play your AirPlay for the television in the living room. it is a smart TV and it means just that,. I was 100% fine with that, but my friend who came do not understand the smart TV situation. also, you could not leave the windows and doors open at night because of the potential termites coming in in that was a bummer. and also, it was a little bit of a hassle, opening and closing all the windows and doors due to the locks on the top and bottom I really enjoyed the condo was perfect location. But bring your walking shoes/hiking shoes air conditioning amazing in both bedrooms. Overall, very happy with the accommodations. I would definitely come back again. And if you work out join the big apple gym it’s 20 for the whole week great place almost like planet fitness but in Mexico , I was super happy with that as well and also the taxi to Walmart was 10.

Summary: What this property listing fails to mention is the incessant road noise that ruins literally everything about the ambiance.The road directly below the property is a major roadway with heavy traffic 24/7. The vehicles that frequent this road—including MANY semi-trucks, dump trucks, and other large transport vehicles—struggle up the hill, often with little to no effective mufflers, and use their Jake brakes on the way down. It is LOUD and will absolutely affect your sleep throughout the entire night. The windows don’t seal, so there’s no way to block out the noise. The even steeper road that the property is on (just off the busy road) is also a thoroughfare for dump trucks and other transport vehicles. All this said, it is impossible to enjoy your time on the patio or even inside with the doors shut with this CONSTANT noise.Furthermore, when crossing the main road to get to the stairs down to town, there are blind corners on either side. The road is very busy, so you have to do your best to wait for a break in the traffic then run for your life. Fun times with my 72 year old mom and 8 and 11 year old kids. Though there are some positives about this property (the view, the authentic Mexican charm and the responsiveness of the hosts), all of this is lost with the road noise. I have never heard such noise in any accommodation, in any city, in any part of the world. Please heed my warning and if you do choose to book, bring ear plugs - you will need them!

Summary: We LOVE Peter’s place. It’s a total charmer with a spectacular view and a great Mexican vibe. The location is fantastic- you have to be able to walk up and down lots of steep steps - no more than 7 minutes (after the first few days it’s not even 5 ). At the bottom of the steps you are right at the far end of the romantic zone. I loved the steps. Great exercise. My husband-not so much. VERY easy to get a cab. About 4-5USD. Here’s the issue with the property for us. It is right near the main road (highway) that goes in and out of town. It can be VERY loud. Even louder, though, are big construction trucks that go up the hill next to the unit to build or repair other units further up the hill. Peter was very responsive and got us a white noise machine. If traffic sounds don’t bother you then this is the place for you. I can’t say enough good things about the view and the place itself, and Peter and his excellent communication.
