Summary: Questionable housekeeping as several food items left, refrigerator and freezer had a rank smell of fish. We had to clean when we arrived which included picking up personal items around beds....use your imagination here. House itself is nice but is tired and needs attention. For example, carpet is dirty looking, ceiling leaking water over dining table, none of the DVD players functioned properly. The one in the living room has picture and no sound and the one on the middle floor had sound and no picture, and the one in the lowest level did not work at all. Might want to include that the trek across the dune has elevation and is quite difficult for some adults. Otherwise the house is spacious and functionable for several families but for the money we paid we felt the cleanliness was sub par to say the least. Pool is nice and kitchen is well stocked. The stair tamer lift was not functioning when we arrived and I was informed that it was not part of our rental despite it being listed on the rental description.
