Positive: The breakfast menu is exceptional. The fruit and toast offered with every selection are extraordinary and beautifully served. Best of all, the dining room opens out to a balcony that overlooks the cloud forest.

Positive: Beautiful hotel sitting on top of the mountain with great views. We stayed in one of the rooms downstairs and it was spacious enough for a family of four. There were some trails for hiking nearby and the hotel was walking distance to the town so very convenient. The restaurant provided complimentary breakfast which was delicious and offers lunch and dinner menu. During happy hour we enjoyed the fire pit since it gets chilly at night. The hotel staff were all very welcoming and helpful who provided daily morning cleaning and evening turn down service.

Negative: Would be nice is the property had a hottub.

Summary: Perfect mountain retreat for relaxing yet close to fun filled activities like zip lining for an active family.

Positive: The hotel itself is beautifully designed. I loved its commitment to sustainability. The food was marvellous. The beds were very comfortable

Negative: The hotel and staff were fine but we were travelling in the off season so it was weirdly quiet. Felt funny to be the only ones in the bar and restaurant!

Positive: The wildlife we saw here was fabulous. Coatis and capuchins everywhere. The pool is lovely and the location easy to get to places.

Negative: The price of the tours and food is expensive so stay here but eat and book activities elsewhere.
