Positive: It's a family hotel and they are so lovely. They also have the cutest dog and cat. The girl and boy are always willing to help and are super friendly. The rooms are totally fine and the shower is amazing and hot! You get free breakfast and we even got to taste some fresh made Costa Rica dish from them. So lovely. We want to come back to Costa Rica and we will come back to this hotel.

Positive: I really liked the location in the center, the nice breakfast area and the helpful stuff!

Negative: Nothing really to complain, but I guess we had one of the old rooms which is not comparable with the pictures you see. But still all good!

Positive: The room was nice and modern. I booked a room with a balcony. The B&B is 5-minute' walk from the main town, where you can find supermarkets and restaurants. You can also book your tours here; the guy at reception will advise you which companies to go for. The B&B has high-speed Wi-Fi and a decent breakfast

Negative: It might get noisy as the main rod is close

Positive: A cordial and friendly staff. Very clean. A nice view from the window. Located near the bus to the Cloud Forest. Centrally located as long as you can walk up steep hills. One staff member accompanied me all the way to San Jose and helped me find an Uber.

Negative: Built on a steep hill, the rooms are all up a steep staircase.

Summary: Excellent place to stay in Monteverde as long as you have legs to climb steps
