Positive: A whole home with two large beds, a kitchen and bathroom. Absolutely perfect for a stay in Monteverde - our host was super knowledgeable about the area and all of the excursions in Monteverde, giving us lots of helpful information.

Negative: A quite steep 10 minute walk over to the town centre, but not a problem for us.

Positive: The apartment is spacious with a dining table and 4 chairs. We love that it has a full size refrigerator instead of a mini fridge. It has 2 large beds in the bedroom. Jose also arranged for a midweek cleaning since we rented for one week.

Negative: The shower is tepid, not hot. We took our showers after 9 am or later so it’s fine.

Positive: Location was convenient and it was easy to walk into town. The property was immaculately clean and the kitchen was thoughtfully arranged with all needed implements. Our host was welcoming, helpful, and responsive. He helped us book tours with a wonderful tour guide company, Three Brothers. Parking was provided.

Negative: We never were able to shower without tripping the circuit breaker at least once despite following advice given by host. Screens in the bedroom windows would have been nice so we could sleep with the windows open. Listing stated there was one full and one king bed but room contained only one full.

Summary: A quaint, clean, conveniently located property with a fantastic host.
