Summary: Loved the property and location. Lots of stairs but doable for a short stay. Oven wasn’t working but the response and fix was very quick. Communication was excellent. We would stay here again.

Summary: Staying at the Monarch Villa was very relaxing. The condo was comfortable, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully included a lot of extras for guests. The hosts made it easy and were very clear with their expectations and information regarding check in/out and our stay. They also responded quickly when asked a question. It takes a couple of minutes to get used to which door to use, but, once you get that, it’s simple. The condo is just down the street from the beach and in an area highly suitable for walking. I would definitely stay at the Monarch Villa again.

We had a couple things happen that needed attention from the management, and they are very quick to respond and get any issue resolved. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Summary: We came down for my husband’s reunion weekend at Cal Poly with my parents and our 10-week-old infant. My parents stayed in the casita and we set up the smaller bedroom as our nursery, which gave everyone plenty of privacy and room. It was a very comfortable stay with plenty of amenities and a great location close to the beach. The check-in process was very easy, communication was great throughout and the house was very clean. The only few downsides were that there was some outside noise being on a busier street than we're used to in our quiet suburban neighborhood, and my husband and I found the mattresses in the main house to be firmer than we'd like (they were still high quality, it was completely a matter of preference!). Other than that it was a great stay!

The roof deck has a gas grill and ocean views. There are a lot of doors to contend with, but we figured it out. Only a few blocks to the beach and lots of walkable restaurants. It would be nice to have another love seat in the living room. The tv tech is great. We’d definitely stay here again.
