Positive: We came to Zanzibar to celebrate our anniversary, and I'm happy that I chose this lovely boutique hotel! They took such great care and attention to our romantic dinner request, even before we arrived. The beachfront location is amazing and perfect for relaxing walks. We also felt very safe throughout our stay, which made it easy to fully relax. Overall, it was a magical place and we’d happily come back. I can't thank this team enough for making our stay extra special, thank you again Mala hotel! 🤍

Positive: One of the nicest places i have ever been! I extended my stay for five more days, because i liked it so much Staff is all super lovely and taking such a good care. Pool area is really nice and restaurant is good. As a female solotraveller i felt myself also safe in here :)

Positive: The staff is very professional and friendly. Also the food was very good.

Negative: Unfortunatley the AC is to small for the room. Also once an AC unit is put, the roof should be sealed, otherwise its pointless to put the AC - that was a little bit disappointing, because the rest was outstanding and professional. This one point however, has a great impact on sleeping comfort and is therefore basic. Also the water heater is to small to handle the amount of water. If the room would have been smaller and these things working well, it would have been our best hotel in all of Tanzania. Sometimes, less can be more :-)
