Positive: The most amazing hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The team there is so caring and friendly, all wanting to make your stay as memorable as possible. The pool is amazing, and it’s right next to the beach where the water’s really warm. Restaurant at the hotel is great, they have a wide food selection (local, international, Asian, and European foods), as well as plenty of vegetarian options. The service is fast and so so kind and enthusiastic. The hotel itself is rather small and intimate, making it the perfect place for unwinding and relaxing.

Negative: WiFi connection is unstable at times.

Summary: The most amazing stay I’ve ever had at any hotel. Would wholeheartedly recommend. I can’t wait to be back!

Positive: This place is very special, exceptionell personell who strive to make your stay perfect, especially the restaurant staff. Always friendly and a smile on their face. I had the room over the kitchen with view over the ocean with breathtaking sunrises - taking a dip during sunrise was very memorable! The trips you can book at the hotel are really nice but you should definitly negotiate the price and my tip would be to bring your own snorkeling gear (no matter where you book a trip) - the equipment is often quite old or not fitting well. For snorkeling I would recommend the trip to Pungume Island more than the Safari Blue Trip in the South. The cleanliness, beautiful decor and plenty of different seating and chilling areas throughout the hotel just make it very cosy and round this place up perfectly. If you seek a quiet place with a great pool area, delicious food and very nice people, look no further!

Negative: The tide is in that area really strong, at my stay it was only possible to swim in the ocean early in the morning or later in afternoon, but I was aware of it before and made some snorkeling and bathing trips plus the pool area is great, so it was fine for me. Plus it was really interesting to see how the landscape changes. The prices in the restaurant are more European prices, there would be for sure cheaper options out there, but the quality is really good! There are some Massai at the beach talking to you when you take a walk, but being a single female traveler, I got used to that anyways. Sometimes it is annoying, but I still had some nice chats even though I made clear that I wouldn't buy anything. I have heared though that it is pretty quiet compared to other beaches (i.e. Nungwi). All these things I just want to mention, but they would not be a reason for me not to come back - I fully recommend this hotel :)

Positive: The staff and management were so kind and attentive!! Everyone introduced themselves to us and we are greeted with cold beverages and towels. More than it we receive so many complimentary services. Great place I’m sure to be back again. We were at the superior room which was beautiful with ocean front view and balcony.

Positive: My favorite hotel in the island. Beautiful space, beautiful Long Beach, great location to access other areas, and the staff is wonderful. The cats are the cutest, and the pool and garden are very well kept. Love it!

Positive: The staff were incredibly kind and made us feel at home right away. Everything was clean and beautifully maintained, and the breakfast was delicious with both local dishes and à la carte options. The relaxed atmosphere around the pool and beach made it the perfect place to unwind.

Negative: There was very little to improve. The only small thing we noticed was that we were asked several times about booking a massage, which felt a little frequent at times. It’s absolutely well-meant, but sometimes it’s nice to have a bit more quiet space to decide for yourself

Positive: We had a marvelous time in Sahari hotel and we felt there like in heaven. The hotel is just next to the beautiful beach. The restaurant has an ocean view and the food there is very nice. The breakfasts are awesome. The stuff is extremely helpful, so the owners of the hotel. In general the time there was very relaxing. The rooms were very atmospherical and charming. Definitely we would love to come back to that awesome place.

Positive: Sahari is the most beautiful resort we have ever stayed at. The resort is itself nestled in the sand right on the beach and is a quiet little oasis from the outside world. The staff were absolutely wonderful and felt more like friendly hosts, we cannot thank everyone at Sahari enough for looking after us during our honeymoon. The restaurant is very good and we had many days out organised at the excursions desk which were wonderful - our sunset dhow cruise in particular was very special thanks to the brilliant people at Sahari.

Positive: We had a great stay. The hotel is right on the beach and has a beautiful pool with very comfortable lounging areas. The food was great, especially the Mama Africa dish. On one of the nights there was live music which was very entertaining, is was fun to dance with the staff! The staff was super nice, everyone was very sweet and attentive, especially Christina!♥️

Negative: We didn’t love the fishing excursion
