Positive: The property is very clean, spacious and homy. It has everything we needed during our stay. The host is very helpful and responsive. We stayed there for four nights. It is one of the best places we stayed at and booked through booking. Located in the lovely Roslin and is a bus ride away from shops, restaurants and busy old and new town. Hopefully we will go there again.

Positive: This house is located in a quiet neighborhood of Edinburgh, in the small village of Roslin. It is fine for a short visit with a family. The house was well cleaned, the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is small but adequate. The owner was quite responsive.

Negative: The main sitting room has a quite dusty smell - almost like someone had smoked in there a few years ago. We could not get the smell out by opening the windows, though that helped. The house furnishings are quite dated and miss a bit of atmosphere. The TV is also not in the best state anymore. The garden is in need of some maintenance to make it feel more welcoming. The house does not really have a space for dinner - there is a dinner table but it is in the kitchen which does not have a ton of space, so self catering is a bit hard with a family. The photos of the house are a bit flattering (as usual though - nothing egregious). This house would benefit from a thorough modernization.
