Positive: Very welcoming hostess with excellent accommodation, at pains to make sure we had the most suitable room for us - and a lovely room it was! Good car parkng and helpful information on which bus to catch into town.

Negative: We weren't on the ball enough to turn into the drive as soon as we saw the big B&B sign, so we had a tiny extra exploration along the road! Only ourselves to blame! Lovely place to stay.

Positive: Needed an affordable room for a last minute trip to Edinburgh. Owners were very friendly and responsive to messages, and exceptionally kind when we were delayed by traffic. “No need to rush, drive safely!” As previous reviews have covered, there were so many thoughtful touches in the room (more than just two teabags, you are provided with a real stock of hot drink options!). The bed was super comfortable so got a great night sleep after a long drive. Breakfast was really well done. Self service, which actually worked really well as there was no rush to be down for breakfast, you can choose what you want from the vast array of provisions, and it gave an opportunity to chat to other guests in the kitchen. It’s a bit out of town on the south side but there are places to eat within walking distance, and the park-and-ride is very close.

Negative: Nothing really!

Summary: Friendly, relaxed, comfortable - just what we needed!
